Ok...here is another one.
My ex, my two kids, and myself lived in this house that continuously had strange things happening in it. Faucets would turn on, footsteps, weird sensations, occasional "black misty" apparition. Anyway, I never felt threatened by whatever was there and after this happened, I could only be thankful that he was there (he because I saw him a couple times).
My kids’ rooms were upstairs and there was also a TV room up there. In this room was a solid oak cabinet that I used for various storage. BIG mistake! On the upper shelves, I kept games that I didn't want the kids to get into, but of course, my stubborn daughter (about 5 at that time) decided to climb the cupboard and it started falling. Now this took three men to move, so if it had fallen on her, she would have been crushed.
My son was standing there watching (7 yr) and he swore this is what happened....a small rocking chair came flying out of my daughter’s room, turned the corner and caught the cabinet just right, so that my baby didn't get hurt at all. She missed the chair, missed the hardwood floor, landed on carpet, and the cabinet didn't touch her. By the time I got up the stairs, it was all over but my son, who isn't prone to telling big ones, swears that was what happened. It gives me chills every time I think about it. Thank goodness our "friend" was there!
