Subject: My Experience With A Shadow Person.
I was living in Morganfield, Kentucky. I recently just moved in to a house that my boyfriend and I were helping our roommate renovate. It was an older house that had belonged to my roommate’s family for years. We renovated everything from top to bottom. Actually, we had to move in while renovations were going on due to lack of money.
Things were actually very calm at first. We finished the main bathroom and moved on to the floors then the dropped ceiling. We didn't like the dropped ceiling. I actually thought it was very dated and ugly. As we were removing it from the kitchen, my boyfriend and roommate found a large knife hiding up in the ceiling. It was a weird looking thing. It wasn't big enough to be a sword but it was bigger than a dagger. It had sort of a curved blade with a serrated edge. Also, looked like it had blood on it, as my roommate said. I just chalked it up to rust and told them to throw the ugly thing away. They threw it out with the demo from the renovations and hauled it off to the dump.
That’s when it really started. I say it because I never did believe in anything supernatural at all! My boyfriend on the other hand did.
On several nights after that, we would be in the living room watching TV, just our regular shows. My dog would just start growling very low for no reason. Lights were on and there would never be anything there in the direction he was growling. He's a small breed dog so I just figured he was being a nervous animal. After about the fifth night of him doing this in a row my boyfriend admitted to me that he had been seeing things out of the coroner of his eye. Never straight on but he said it always looked like a shadow that was moving then when he would look straight on at it; it wasn't there. I laughed and actually made fun of him for being a scared sissy. Told him he had a great imagination and to stop watching all those scary movies. I feel terrible about my reaction now.
A couple nights later, I woke about 3:30-4am and wanted a drink from the kitchen. I got up, headed through the living room and into the dining room. I could see into the kitchen just barely because we had a small night light by the stove that sat just to the left as you enter the doorway. I stopped because I decided to use the bathroom before I went to the fridge. The bathroom was located on the far right side of the dining room. You couldn't really see the door at night unless you knew it was there.
As I turned right to head to the bathroom, I got inches from running into what I thought was my roommate. My roommate Jordan was 6'5", very tall guy! I immediately apologized and took a step back because I thought I had almost run into him coming out of the bathroom! Then froze completely solid because I honestly couldn't comprehend what I was looking at. It looked like it was almost 12 inches taller than my roommate and was just so black. It was blacker than the darkness behind it. Its arms, if that is what they were, looked like they were going to drag the floor. The whole thing just looked like some kind of elongated humanoid type thing. I could not see a face at all! It did not move at all and neither did I. It seemed like several minutes but I'm pretty sure it was only seconds.
When I finally got the gumption to move, I screamed so freaking loud I surprised people didn't call the cops. I turned left and ran back to the bedroom jumped back in the bed. My boyfriend and roommate had both woke up. I told them what I saw. They both went and turned on the lights and checked to see if there was someone in the house but there was no one in the house but us and my dog. My boyfriend believed me but my roommate thought I was being an over reactive female. Like a little kid, I clung to my boyfriend for the rest of the night and did not come out from under the covers. The next day I packed up my things and my little dog and went to my parents’ house a few counties over. My boyfriend decided to stay. But just a few night later he also joined me at my parents’ house. I didn't ask and he didn't offer any reason. I don't really talk about it because I have not experienced anything like it since. But I know what I saw and I know it was there as sure as I'm breathing
