Subject: My Shadow person experience
I don't want my email or my name shown on here but I witnessed something the other day. I know what I saw and there's is absolutely no doubt in my mind that what I saw was as real as you and I.
I'm the kind of person who doesn't believe in too much with out it being proven to me, needless to say it was proven the other day and I will go to my grave believing. I just wish I understood it.
I work at a storage facility. We have several units. It's my job to go through all of them. There is a building in the back of the lot that has units upstairs and down. While checking the upstairs units in the past, I have been overwhelmed with a feeling of fear. I try to go through them as fast as I can and get out of there. I thought it was all in my head because I have never been a believer in any other forms of existence (I know now that I have been naive).
Two days ago while working I had to go up there. It started out fine. I had no feeling of apprehension at all and was just going from unit to unit. Then when I was almost done, I was hit with the feeling that I wasn't alone. It was almost as if someone had walked in but I heard nothing. I tell myself to get over it and look over my shoulder to prove to myself that there was nothing there. Well, I did. As I looked over my shoulder, I saw, as clear as day, a solid black shadow of a man come walking around the corner. I froze and so did he! I just stared and was unable to move. After a few seconds he moved and I ran as fast as I could and as I made it to the stairs, my whole body started tingling and I was overwhelmed with a feeling of fear. I swear I only touched like three of the twenty steps I had to go down to make it outside.
I called my husband right after I got back to my office and he couldn't believe the fear he could hear in my voice (he always tells me how tough I am; I don't scare easy). I had a sick, shaky feeling in me for hours afterward. I was shocked by what I had witnessed.
Looking back on the experience I feel that I surprised him (I know it was a ‘him’ because, although there were no features, it was very clearly a tall slim man with curly hair). It was almost as if he didn't know I was there and he was just walking around up there. Once he came around the corner he froze just as I did. I feel that the feeling of fear that I felt at the top of the stairs was from the absolute shock of it all.
I can't say one way or the other whether he wants to cause harm. All I can say for sure is that the feeling I got in the past, when I was up there, is very unsettling and the feeling I got when we saw each other, was down right horrifying.
But with that said I don't know anything about Shadow people so seeing something with my own eyes, that I never thought existed, is going to be a scary experience. The last two days I have been doing research on what I saw and it is amazing to me to have it explained in personal experiences exactly the way that I am explaining it to people around me.
I will never forget the experience although I wish I could. I have not been back up there since and told my boss I refuse to go up there alone again. I've had people tell me they will go up there with me to help me finish what I started but I simply cannot do it right now. When I think about what happened, all the hair stands up on my arms and my eyes tear up. I absolutely unmistakingly saw a shadow person. I will always believe that there is more out there then most people do or ever will know.
